ALL PILATES IS NOT THE SAME ......... LET US SHOW YOU THE DIFFERENCE
Pilates was enamoured of the Classical Greek ideal of a man who is balanced equally in body, mind and spirit.
THE CONTROLOGY PILATES STUDIO
The Pilates Studio is a fully equipped Studio with the full range of original spring-driven apparatus designed and created by Joseph Pilates.
The Studio offers Private sessions, Studio sessions, Matwork Classes and under-16 half hour sessions.Working with the muscles over their longer range and building a healthy 'elasticity' to the tissues, the Pilates Method, Contrology 'uniformly develops' the body, creating a balanced structure around a central axis, orchestrated and coordinated with the mind. So precise and so 'mindfull' the results remain with you forever.
The Studio teaches you the tools to be in charge of your own body. With a whole body awareness you can prevent strain patterns, reduce stress, maximise full movement potential and move through life with more 'zest and ease'.
'The springs ‘resist your movements in just the right way so those inner muscles really have to work against it. That way you can concentrate on movement.’ Joseph Pilates
Reawakening the subconscious patterning of our Olympic mind, that which walks us, we can re-establish natural movement and find our full movement potential for all of Life.
